If you purchased Influencer Camp prior to August 2024, you received materials which include instructions for using the Flip video editing platform from Microsoft.
As of July 1, 2024 Microsoft has transitioned Flip from a free, browser-based application, to one that is available only in the Microsoft Teams environment within Office 365 for Education. With this transition, some of Flip’s previously available features have also been discontinued, so we recommend taking advantage of the updated version of Influencer Camp, in which Flip has been replaced by Canva.
To access the updated version of Influencer Camp (recommended):
Visit the updated Influencer Camp course, also found under your Courses page.
If you’d prefer to complete Influencer Camp using Flip, rather than Canva:
The original version of Influencer Camp can still be accessed in the PCS Edventures Digital Resource Portal, under the title “Influencer Camp – Legacy Version for Flip Users”.
Please note, Flip can only be accessed within Microsoft Teams, and the process will differ some from what is outlined in the original Influencer Camp Educator Guide. Check out the following videos on using Flip within Microsoft Teams, which cover some of these updated processes:

If your site already uses Office 365 for Education, you will not need to create any new accounts to access the Flip Camera.
If your site is an accredited academic institution, but you don’t currently use Office 365 for Education, you would first need to sign up by following the steps below:
- Visit Microsoft Teams for Education
- Click “Sign up for Free,” and enter your school email address to get your free version of Microsoft Teams for Education.
- Launch Teams for Education, and set up your class.
